Repair
Loose or broken joints, wobbly chairs, split tops, lifting veneer, broken trim and drawers that stick. Joints are taken apart, cleaned and reglued, breaks are mended, and damaged areas are filled and color-matched so the repair blends in and the piece is sound and usable again. Often, pieces may need all three services: repair, refinishing, and reupholstery. We work with you to get what you want done.
Refinishing
Water rings, cloudy or cracked finishes, sun damage and old paint. The old finish is removed using environmentally conscious methods, the wood underneath is inspected, repaired, and prepared for a new finish chosen by the customer. We can match existing finishes, or stain your piece with a new color of your choosing. We can also paint furniture, if a traditional finish isn't what you're looking for.
Reupholstery
Worn, torn, stained or outdated upholstery. The springs and boards that hold together the furniture are inspected and replaced as needed. The existing fabric is carefully removed and inspected, and the piece is rebuilt with new materials we recommend and the styles that the customer chooses.
Pickup and Delivery
We can pick your furniture up and bring it back when the work is done, for a fee. When you get in touch, let us know where the piece is and whether there are stairs. Prefer to bring it in yourself? The shop is at 1702 Midway Road in Odenton.
